Below is the uniform requirements for each class.
The correct uniform is required for all classes after a short settling in period. Items should be purchased in the brands, or recommended brands, and styles as stated. Substitutes are not acceptable and will prevent children being entered for examinations or taking part in performances.
DANCE SHOES SHOULD NOT BE WORN OUTSIDE!!
THE ONLY UNIFORM ITEMS ACCEPTED FROM THE SAINSBURYS' "BALLET" RANGE ARE THE TIGHTS WHICH MAY BE WORN FOR CLASS ONLY.
We recommend you have your class teacher size up your child before placing any orders. Particularly ballet shoes. Children will always need to go 1 size up in ballet shoes and in most leotards as well.
KtS Dance support local businesses and recommend that where possible you purchase from our friends at The Ballet Boutique, Merton Road, South Wimbledon which also stocks most of our items as well as specialist items perfect for your budding ballerinas. All items can also be ordered at www.planetdance.com by selecting the Uniform for schools and colleges option on the side-bar and following the KtS Dance logo to the relevent class page. Please check the colour requirements carefully before ordering. When ordering through PlanetDance all returns or exchanges will be your own responsibility.
Some new and second hand items are held in stock however during the ongoing coronavirus situation we are not selling or taking second hand items and our teachers are unable to size children up at this time.

Suitable for All Ballet Classes up to Grade 2 (Friday) and All Saturday classes (up to Grade 1):
Long Sleeve Knitted Crossover Cardigan (Starlite or Roch Valley) - optional
RAD Pink or Lavender (Cotton style cardigans also available)
Black available in cotton for Grade 2 upwards
(Please note; This is the only style of cardigan that will be accepted in Friday and Saturday classes for wear after the warm-up session)
